On 8 January Claude Marx, CEO Lombard International Assurance, handed over a cheque for €10 500 to the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner, a charity organisation which supports children with cancer and their families. This donation was made possible thanks to the significant funds collected by the company’s staff as part of the sale of corporate merchandising in December last year.  The amount raised was matched by the company.

The cheque was received by Anne Goeres, Director, and Philippe Hoss, Member of the Board, from the Foundation. They said that Lombard International Assurance’s support was greatly appreciated and would be put towards logistic and medical support, after-school tutoring, activities and events for patients and their families.

Claude Marx said: “This is an extremely worthwhile charity which provides valuable support to children and families in their time of need.  They make a real difference in alleviating some of the challenges around the stay in hospital, allowing families to be together and united during this period”.
