Lombard International Assurance, a global leader in wealth structuring solutions, has announced the appointment of David Liebmann as Head of French Market. This appointment highlights the group’s continued commitment and further enhances its presence in France, which is a key focus for growth during 2017.
In this role, Mr. Liebmann reports to Luca Bertacchi, Regional Sales Director Central and Southern Europe of Lombard International Assurance. Mr. Liebmann, based in Luxembourg, has responsibility for the overall sales strategy for France and for further developing new opportunities in the market, growing business with new and existing distribution partners. This appointment follows the opening of the French representative office in Paris last year which was an important step to reinforce Lombard International Assurance’s presence in France, providing its partners with dedicated local points of contact and greater access to expertise and support.

Mr. Liebmann joins Lombard International Assurance having spent the last seven years in his role as Deputy Head of Sales France & Monaco at Carmignac, where he was in charge of the distribution of Carmignac Funds through private banks, discretionary wealth managers and family offices. Prior to this, Mr. Liebmann worked at Rothschild & Cie in Paris, and Banque Privée 1818.
