Lombard International Group’s sponsorship of Sunshine People’s 2020 Kindness Challenge supports Nahla Summers, Cultural Change Consultant and the author of A Culture of Kindness, in aiming to break a World Record on an ElliptiGO bike, all whilst carrying out random acts of kindness along the way. The inspirational project is a keen reminder that it takes all of us, working together, to put kindness at the heart of our daily actions, in our society and workplace cultures to nurture and build a more sustainable, brighter and kinder tomorrow.
Kicked off on Saturday, 1 August and ending on November 13, which is World Kindness Day, Nahla will be travelling over 5,000 miles on an ElliptiGO bike, visiting every city in the UK. Lombard International Group will be following and supporting Nahla’s journey, which may also be tracked on Komoot by clicking here and following her profile, Nahlasummers.
Sandra Locke, Group Chief Human Resource Officer, recently held a virtual conversation with Nahla, in the first leg of her route, to see how she was progressing, talk about how she is helping to drive and inspire change through acts of kindness, and how we can all consciously insert kindness into our every day. Watch their conversation about the needs and virtues of kindness below.
These unprecedented times have presented all of us, around the globe, with our own unique challenges, both personally and professionally. Keeping kindness at the heart of every interaction has never been so vital, as it is now. This is why Lombard International Group is proud of our continued partnership with Sunshine People, which seeks to bring about positive social change and increased human connection through the power of kindness.
