Lombard International Assurance, a market leading provider of wealth, estate and succession planning solutions for high net worth individuals, families and institutions, is proud to announce that it has won the “Specialist Wealth Manager” award* at the tenth annual WealthBriefing European Awards 2022.

Showcasing ‘best of breed’ in European wealth management, the WealthBriefing awards have been designed to recognise outstanding organisations segmented by specialism and geography. The ‘Specialist Wealth Manager’ category is highly contested with a small number of finalists and commended submissions chosen from a large pool of entrants.

This award further recognises Lombard International Assurance’s strong leadership position in the Unit Linked Life Insurance market in Europe. The judges said they were “hugely impressed with the company’s innovative custom designed cross border insurance- based wealth, estate and expertise to help a range of HNW clients with global solutions to invest their assets in an optimal way to meet their succession planning needs.”

Last month, Lombard International Assurance also won ‘Best Financial Services Group Europe’ for the second consecutive year at the Global Banking & Finance Review Awards.

Commenting on the award, Stuart Parkinson, Group Chief Executive said: I’m delighted that Lombard International Assurance has won “Specialist Wealth Manager”. The award is a real honour and a testament to our 30+ year leadership position in insurance-based wealth planning solutions. It is our international team’s deep local knowledge combined with unique cross-border planning expertise that enable us to meet even the most complex of financial needs with choice and flexibility. This recognition further reiterates the relevance of our value propositions and long term strategy. I am proud that this is appreciated by our partners and clients – and now recognised further by WealthBriefing and their judging panel”
